The Foundation’s work in the area of medical education seeks to address needed changes in the learning environment and highlight solutions to professionalism challenges that physicians are encountering more and more in their practice
Our efforts to advance medical professionalism include:
- Creating a network of medical doctors, students and faculty who are committed to learning and teaching the principles of true service and diagnoses
- Publishing Metacad Journal , a annual collection of research paper / diagnoses and to teach ways to deliver high quality care through professionalism in medical practice.
- Convening leaders in academic medicine, medical students and residents, patients and other stakeholders to develop a social gathering for medical education and clinical training.
- Supporting efforts to address the management of conflicts of interest in education.
